If you can’t log in, it is always because of one of these 3 causes below. Each paragraph has instructions about how you can fix it to be able to log in again.
1. I am being directed back to the log in page
If you get directed back to the login page instead of the member area after you click Log in, you are entering an incorrect password or username. Having special characters in your username will also cause this. Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive.
The regular login link is:
https://hungryforhits.com/login.php?s=noauth
However, if you add incorrect login details and the login page reloads, the url ends with “invlogin” like this:
https://hungryforhits.com/login.php?s=invlogin
If you don’t have any special characters in your username, the fastest and simplest way for you to fix this log in problem is to click the “Resend login details” link on the log in page. You will get an email immediately with your username and a new password.
Once you have used it to log in, you can either keep that password or change it on the “Account Settings” page, but do not use the same password as the one you had before. The email is sent to the email address you used to register for Hungry For Hits. You should never use the same password as in any other site. We recommend LastPass password manager so that you don’t have to remember each one separately.
If you get such an email even though you haven’t requested a new password yourself, then someone other than you is trying to get into your account and the administrator has reset your password.
If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, simply check the spam folder and/or add admin@hungryforhits.com to your filters or contacts to prevent these types of mail from going to the spam folder again.
If you have chosen or changed your username to a username that contains special characters, such as ‘ or &. Please contact support and we will change it for you.
2. It says my account is unverified
If you enter your login details and you get a message saying that your account is unverified, you must re-verify your account. If your account has been active before but you still get the message it is unverified, it is because our emails don’t reach you. The most common issue is that your email inbox is full. Simply clear some space in it and click the “Resend verification code” link on the log in page, and a new one will be sent to you instantly.
If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, simply check the spam folder and/or add admin@hungryforhits.com to your filters or contacts to prevent these types of mail from going to the spam folder again.
If you no longer have access to the email address you registered with and you are unverified, please contact support with your name and new email address, and we will update it.
3. I am locked out due to too many login attempts
If your or someone else has tried to access your account with the wrong username and/or password too many times, or from too many IPs in a short period of time, it will be temporarily locked. This is a security feature to protect your account.
However, if you have a dynamic IP address that changes often, it is possible you would get locked out even though no one else tried to access your account. Please contact supportabout the issue, and we will make an exception for your account, so that this doesn’t happen again.
