If you can’t log in, it can be because of a few things depending on what error message you get.
Directed back to the log in page
Most commonly, you enter an incorrect password or username. If you do, you will simply be sent back to the login page where you enter your details, after you click “Log in”, instead of going to the member area. Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive. The fastest and simplest way for you to fix this log in problem is to click the “Resend password” link on the log in page. You will get an email immediately with your username and a new password.
Once you have used it to log in, you can either keep that password or change it on the “Account Settings” page, but do not use the same password as the one you had before. The email is sent to the email address you used to register for Hungry For Hits. You should never use the same password as in any other site. We recommend LastPass password manager so that you don’t have to remember each one separately.
If you get such an email even though you haven’t requested a new password yourself, then someone other than you is trying to get into your account and the administrator has reset your password.
If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, simply check the spam folder and/or add email@example.com to your contacts to prevent these types of mail from going to the spam folder again.
If you enter your login details and you get a message saying that your account is unverified, you have gotten an email to the address you used to register for Hungry For Hits with a verification link. You must click that link before you can log in. We do this to make sure that real people with real email addresses use Hungry For Hits. If you can’t find the email, simply click the “Resend verification code” on the log in page and a new one will be sent to you instantly. If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, simply check the spam folder and/or add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts to prevent these types of mail from going to the spam folder again.
It is possible you have been a verified member before, but for some reason your email provider no longer lets our emails through. That means the email is bouncing, and after a few of these bounces you will have to change your email address and verify it again to be able to log in. To prevent this from happening, use a Gmail address. You can also whitelist or set a filter for the site email; email@example.com, so that the email is never sent to trash/spam without you seeing it.
Facebook log in not working
To be able to log in using Facebook, you need to be using the same email address in Facebook as you do in Hungry For Hits. If you use different email addresses it would create a new account, but you can always change your account email address on the “Account Settings” page to make them the same and be able to use this feature. You have to be logged in to Facebook to log in to Hungry For Hits through it. You also need to allow cookies and pop ups for the Facebook log in to work.
